The Coconut Studio built the whole thing: the brand, the storefront, the activation platform behind it, the native apps, a browser-based international calling product, an AI support team on WhatsApp, the programmatic SEO that makes it discoverable, and the social that sells it.

Most eSIM brands look like a phone shop. We went the other way and built CocoRoam to read like a travel magazine — a serif-led identity, generous photography and a single, confident promise: “Pack light. Stay connected.” That voice runs through every surface, from the homepage to the checkout to the post-purchase email.

Pick a plan, pay, scan the QR code — land already online. Behind that simplicity sits multi-currency pricing, a data calculator that recommends the right bundle, unlimited and by-the-GB plans, and a dashboard that tracks every active eSIM down to the day it expires.

We didn’t stop at data
When Skype shut down in 2025 it left millions without a cheap way to call home from abroad — so we built the replacement. CocoCall makes crystal-clear calls to 200+ countries from 1p a minute, running entirely in the browser, with no app to install at either end of the line. It rides the same CocoRoam eSIM data or any WiFi, bills by the minute from a pay-as-you-go wallet with no subscription and no expiry, and will even rent you a real local number in the UK, US or Canada so people can call you back. Underneath it’s WebRTC voice over Twilio, Stripe-billed credit and number subscriptions, a per-destination rate engine and verified caller IDs — a whole second product, built on the first one’s rails.

A buy button you can trust
The hard part of selling eSIMs is the instant of purchase: the upstream carrier’s API isn’t idempotent, so a single dropped response can take a customer’s money without issuing a SIM. We engineered a one-shot purchase invariant and a reclaim job that scans the provider every minute for orphaned SIMs — backed by self-healing crons, an admin diagnostics API and automated refunds. Orders fix themselves before a human notices anything went wrong.
AI & CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Support that answers before you land
A CocoRoam-branded AI agent lives on WhatsApp, trained on our real support history. It reads screenshots and transcribes voice notes, looks up the customer’s live eSIM — order, ICCID, activation and data used — and resolves the common issues in seconds, in our voice. When a question genuinely needs a person or the network provider, it escalates and relays invisibly. The customer only ever sees “CocoRoam Support.”

Found before the trip is booked
Most of CocoRoam’s traffic is earned, not bought. Every country it sells has its own landing page — 150+ of them, each statically generated and revalidated on a schedule, with per-country titles, descriptions, prices and structured data so Google can surface star ratings, prices and FAQ answers right in the result. A library of buyer-intent guides — “best eSIM for Japan”, “Airalo vs Holafly vs CocoRoam” — plus regional hubs and a dense web of internal links mean the brand shows up the moment someone pairs a destination with the word eSIM, often owning more than one result on the page.
CONTENT & SOCIAL
A feed that looks like a magazine
The same visual language carries the brand across social: an editorial Instagram system, paid creative, and timely moments like World Cup 2026 — every asset cut from one identity so paid, organic and product all feel unmistakably CocoRoam. We even built the tool that ships it: a bespoke scheduling platform inside CocoRoam’s own admin that queues an entire campaign, auto-publishes to Instagram on a cron at the chosen cadence, sequences tiles to lock the 3×3 grid, guards against double-posting and keeps its API tokens fresh on its own.
