Twenty years of running engagements has shaped a simple way of working. Listen, plan, build, ship, and stay around to keep it alive. Whether the engagement is a two-week audit or a six-month embedded role, the shape is the same — what changes is the depth at each step.

Before proposing anything, we listen. The business, the team, the systems already in place, the AI conversations already had, the things you've tried that didn't work. We end the listen step with a written understanding of where you are and what you're actually trying to get to — which is often clearer than you think.

We dig deeper into what's working and what isn't — codebase reviews, infrastructure checks, team conversations, AI capability assessments. We're often part of your audience already, which is a useful starting point for empathy. We come out of discovery with a prioritised plan, sized to the time and budget that's actually available.

The plan turns into work — design, code, integrations, AI features, content. Senior hands on every part of it. We work alongside your team where one exists, or run the work end-to-end where it doesn't. Production-ready from day one, not after sign-off.

Going live is a milestone, not the finish line. We measure performance and carbon on the way out the door, document the build for whoever maintains it, and stay close for the first few weeks while the work meets real users. Most launches are quieter than you expect them to be — that's usually a good sign.
